This 2019 Energy Exchange recorded session explores combined heat and power (CHP) on-site generation. Installation, campus, and facility resilience is often anchored by CHP on-site generation. Having an efficient, prime-power source of electrical and thermal energy as the basis for a resilient microgrid helps agencies ensure their missions. Over time, CHP systems can also be improved and optimized as internal and external factors change. Speakers discuss CHP systems and how they have been integrated into their buildings' electrical and thermal energy systems.
